From our drama club officers
Esteemed friends, family members, and guests,
Despite the prolonged difficulties that plagued us throughout
our production, our members have persevered through it all,
and we couldn’t be more proud of them. Without the aid of
our previous director and choreographer, it seemed like an
impossible feat to continue our work. It’s no secret that we
miss them dearly, and are forever in debt to our new director
and choreographer Mrs. Lilly-Lacca and Mrs. Laskos, as well as
our wonderful parent volunteers for joining our ranks and–in
all honesty–saving our butts!
During this time of uncertainty, we were once again reminded
of a valuable lesson: It’s not the fancy lights or colorful
costumes that make these productions so magical–it’s the
members. The power to bring a story to life onstage is one to
be treasured, and each time the curtain opens, we can see
what all those endless hours of work and practice have boiled
down to. We ran into quite a few roadblocks (and that’s saying
a lot with all the student drivers around here), but everyone
banded together and pushed full steam ahead to make this
happen. It is our pleasure to say that the work has finally paid
off! We thank you all for coming out to support what has been
a long journey for us. It means the world to see the auditorium
filled with an enthusiastic audience ready to watch our efforts
play out onstage.
So, in the words of an old dear friend, “Enjoy the show!”
All the best,
RO Drama Officers
